Register now: Managing Visitor Use in Coastal and Marine Protected Areas

Does your work involve balancing public safety, natural resource preservation, and positive visitor experiences on or along Lake Superior? Do you struggle to manage issues brought by human visitors in coastal spaces?

The Lake Superior Reserve is hosting Managing Visitor Use in Coastal and Marine Protected Areas, a workshop designed to help Lake Superior coastal resource and recreation managers structure problem-solving around visitor use conflicts, on October 17th and 18th. The workshop will be taught by instructors from NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management. Click here to find out more about the workshop content.

Please contact Karina Heim at karina.heim@ces.uwex.edu. or (715) 399-4089 for details about the workshop and how to register. Registration is required for this workshop, and you must register by October 2nd. There is no cost to attend, but participants must make their own travel and lodging arrangements.
