An exciting research and professional development opportunity
This new, two-year fellowship is focused on natural and social science research within the nation’s diverse estuaries and surrounding communities. You will work with a mentor, fellow scientists, and local communities to help address coastal challenges. The fellowship includes networking opportunities and career-readiness training. Apply for one of the 29 fellowships available through the National Estuarine Research Reserve System.
Through a research project, fellows will address a key coastal management question to help scientists and communities understand coastal challenges that may influence future policy and management strategies.

Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens admitted to or enrolled in a full-time graduate program at a U.S. accredited college or university, working to obtain a master’s or doctoral degree. Applicants must have at least two years remaining in their academic course of study to apply.
